Located in Northern part of Palawan particularly in Coron is Kayangan Lake which is often times declared to be the cleanest lake in the Philippines. The lake which is surrounded by steep limestone cliffs is also referred to as the Blue Lagoon due to its striking resemblance to the lake in the movie of the same name.
