The Palace In The Sky was built by Imelda Marcos in 1979 for the state visit of then US President Ronald Reagan, who never came to the country. The place is now known as Peoples Park In The Sky. It offers a 360 degree view of the near and far surroundings and overlooks four bodies of water, Taal Lake, Balayan Bay, Laguna de Bay and Manila Bay. Truly not a place to be missed in scenic Tagaytay. People's Park in the sky formerly Palace in the Sky. The place was an unfinished rest house of the late President Marcos, wherein the construction was abandoned when he was overthrown in 1986. Amazed with the view to our left side on the highway, amazing taal volcano over view, the highlands, and the wonderful trees and scenery.
