Coron Island or Calis Island is a big island across the bay just 20 minutes by motorboat from Coron Town as the Tagbanuas call it. Coron is a relatively recent discovery as a beautiful tourist spot. It is located in the northern part of Palawan, being a part of the Calamianes Islands composed of four municipalities Coron, Busuanga, Culion and Linapacan.
Coron is located in Busuanga Island, being one of two municipalities therein and is the center of commerce and trade in the Calamianes. It is in island composed of towering limestone cliffs, coves, lakes, pockets of white beaches and all beautiful aspects one could think of of an island.
